Frequently Asked Questions

If you have recently moved into the Mariner's Point community, you may have some questions about your Association and the services it provides. Here are some frequently asked questions and answers.

Do I receive a bill for my dues?

Bills are not mailed to homeowners for their dues. You need to mail your check to the property management company each month. You may pay ahead for convenience.

When are the monthly HOA fees due and where do I mail them?

Please mail your dues by the First of each month. Any dues received after the 25th of the month will be posted to the following month. Mail your homeowners' association dues to the address on your coupon booklet or to:

Mariner's Point Community Association
c/o 3600 Crondall Lane
Suite 100
Owings Mills, MD 21117

How do I get a coupon book?

Coupon books are provided through the property management company in late December.  If you do not have a coupon book, please call Felicia Shockley, CMCA, AMS, of Tidewater Property Management at 443-548-0191, ext 225. If you do not have a coupon book or have misplaced it, be sure to write your property address on your check when you mail it in. (Even if you do not have your coupon book, you should still pay your dues.)

What do the dues cover?

Your HOA dues cover the current upkeep and maintenance of the community property and common area. This includes the clubhouse and pool maintenance as well as the grounds surrounding these facilities. A certain portion of the dues are placed in reserve funds for projected repairs of the pool, clubhouse, and the road and parking lot. There is also a Painting Reserve fund for those homes whose exterior is painted on a five-year rotating basis.

How do I get my pool passes?

Pool Applications are mailed to community members each Spring. Passes are mailed beginning in mid-May. One must be a member in good standing and up-to-date on their dues to qualify for pool passes and use of the pool.

How do I rent the clubhouse?

The Mariner's Point Clubhouse is available to community owners and their guests. Here is more information about renting the Clubhouse.

How do I get approval to build a fence or deck?

In short, you need to get the approval of the Architectural Committee. In order to apply you should complete the application form, submit your plans and be sure to follow the community's architectural guidelines. In addition, you probably need a building permit from the City of Annapolis.
